AVS Image Converter is much more than what it name implies – it is also an image editor, an image resizer, an image renamer, and an image organizer. Thanks to its batch support, you can convert any number of images between some of the most widely used formats – such as JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, TGA, or BMP – in a very simple and intuitive way. Besides, you can edit, correct, watermark, rename, and resize them also in batches if needed.
Each of the output formats supported – which includes PDF, by the way – comes with its own settings. Most of them are common to most output formats, but some are exclusive to a specific type of image file. GIF and PNG, for instance, offer you the possibility of creating animated image files, while PDF will allow you to select a page format. Apart from these format-specific settings, the “Corrections” tab will display various other editing options organized in different categories – effects, texture, temperature, contrast, etc. Here you can turn your photos into sepia, black and white, or negative images, and even add a 3D-anaglyph touch to them. It is a pity that these effects cannot be combined to create “new” ones...
Anyway, even thought all these other secondary functions add value to the program, AVS Image Converter is, most of all, a powerful and effective image file converter, and it is when you use it to batch-convert your entire photo collection that it displays its full potential. Not to be missed.
This application allows you to convert your PDF files to word doc for free.
